Taco Boy gets caught up in the Palmetto State

Now this Palmetto find was one that I found with my sister, mom and friends and I have to say it was a great find! The location of this place is one I would have never guessed but it is definitely one only the locals know, but one that I will definitely share with friends and visitors alike!

Taco Boy has two locations, one is tucked under the Ravenel Bridge in Charleston, SC and the other location is in Folly Beach, SC. If you are heading to either one of these places, definitely make this a go-to place to grab a bite to eat. If you're in the mood for good cocktails, Head to Taco Boy. If you're in the mood for amazing tacos. Head to Taco Boy. Just looking for a place with a great atmosphere and a place to grab a quick bite. Head to Taco Boy! No matter what you order, you won't be disappointed! I mean I know I wasn't!

Taking one look at this menu, your eyes are drawn to the many colors and the Taco Boy logo. But after taking a real look at the menu the first thing you notice are their many drinks and cocktails! I personally chose The Original Frozen Driver. In this bright cocktail is the mixin's of a screwdriver. If you love this drink then this is something you have to try! For only 6 dollars it is something that you can't pass up.

Now if you flip the menu over you will hit their delicious tacos, salads and other specialties. As you read down the menu, you start to panic because you start thinking how am I ever suppose to choose one? Well here is a tip i'm gonna share with you... since i'm a twin I had her get one thing and I got something else and we shared. So simple solution right there! You get one thing, bring a friend and have them get something else and you can share! Simple as that and then you can try more than one item on the menu in one visit!

My taco of choice was a Braised Beef taco. It was a slow braised beef shoulder, topped with jicama radish slaw, toasted spiced pumpkin seeds and fresh queso fresco cheese. Now come on, you can't tell me that you would skip over a taco like that. Just the description alone made my mouth water! (well wait, that was every description I read on the menu). Other top contenders were the Carne Asada, Chorizo and Potato and the Sauteed Shrimp taco.

As I mentioned earlier, I got The Frozen Driver as my cocktail of choice and I have to say it complemented my Braised Beef tacos perfectly. With the kick of the Braised Beef and the sweetness of the cocktail is was sure to satisfy anyone's palate.

Want your mouth to water, just take a look at the pictures below to see what I got to indulge in.
