DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible for this sweet treat being gone in a matter of seconds!
Alright y'all, this next post is one that you will want to make again and again! Trust me, just take one look at this picture and you will get right off your couch and make some for yourself. So this recipe is one that is super easy to make and will be gone in just seconds.
French Toast Roll-ups with nutella and strawberries is one you won't mind indulging in! (Trust me, the plate in my kitchen didn't last more than 5 minutes!) So keep readin' y'all and ill share my favorite French Toast Roll-ups!
So let's gather our ingredients shall we?! You will need:
8 slices of white bread
Nutella or cream cheese
Strawberries
2 Eggs
2 heaping Tablespoons of cinnamon
1/3 cups of sugar
1 tablespoon of butter
A splash of milk
First whisk eggs and milk together. Next take the white bread and cut off the crusts. Next mix cinnamon and sugar together and put into a dish (you are going to roll your french toast roll ups in this mixture!). Then chop up strawberries into bite size pieces (you are rolling them up in the bread so if they are too big it won't work well!). Then on each piece of bread spread a little bit of nutella (or cream cheese, that choice is up to you!) and sprinkle strawberries. Now roll them up and dip them in the egg batter. On the stove top melt butter into sautee pan. Once melted, place roll up in pan and brown on all sides (should be a couple minutes total for each roll-up! Continue this process until you make the desired amount of french toast roll-ups! Finally, fresh out of the pan and still hot, roll around in cinnamon sugar mixture.
Now finally you can enjoy. One bite into it and the chocolate will be gooey and fresh strawberry's... this is a combination you do not want to miss out on!
I paired this awesome sweet treat with a glass of White Zinfandel wine and the whole plate didn't last more than 5 minutes! Trust me when I tell you, you will be making more of these before they even have time cooling down!
So have I made your decision on your next meal choice? I sure hope so! The next time you are wondering where to go for a good meal, sweet treat or homemade recipe, come right here and this southern girl will take care of you.
