"Crusin" home from our Bahamas adventure
Honestly, I can't believe we hit day three so fast! I feel like I was just walking onto the ship and soaking in the sunset views. Now the last day at sea was nothing short of awesome and I would give anything to have one more day. Our last day at sea was filled with more "Kiss on the Lips", Strawberry Daiquiri's and playing the Quarters game in the casino.
I bet you are wondering how i spent my last "day out to sea" before arriving home. Any guesses? Well it involved a lounge chair, music, Kiss on the Lips and some sun. Since the boys wanted to stay in the shade and have nothing more to do with the sun, Meredith and I adventured out and picked our spot and soaked up more rays.
For lunch, we dined at Guy Fieri's Burger Joint and it was definitely a good choice. it complimented our favorite cruise cocktail and made sitting outside by the pool on the Lido deck perfect. After spending a few hours out in the sun, we went inside and got ready for dinner. Ending our night in the dining room was perfect and the staff did an outstanding job.
For dinner we were greeted by the same servers and waiters that have been with us our whole stay. The asked how our trip was, what our favorite part of the cruise was and where we were heading back to tomorrow once we left. Without even telling them, they brought us each our drink of choice (I bet you can't guess what I got?!)
Now since it was our last night, I knew I had to end my trip with a perfect meal. Well this menu did not disappoint, after looking carefully I finally made my decision. I chose to have a flat iron steak with a side of mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli; and to end the meal I finally got the chocolate cake that everyone at my table got each night and honestly, I wondered why I waited till the last night to try it! After saying goodbye to our servers and waitstaff we left to explore the ship one last time and sit on the Lido deck to watch Moana (I mean how fitting for our last night out to sea).
The night went way to fast and the next day was upon us and we had to leave. I was sad to go, but knew this would definitely not be my last cruise.Well I hope you enjoyed this post, and I hope I convinced you to have your own food adventure aboard a Carnival Cruise. The next time you are wondering where to go for a good meal, sweet treat or homemade recipe, come right here and this southern girl will take care of you.
