The Palmetto State stirs up some Chicken Fried Rice
Nothing tastes better than freshly made sweet and sour chicken or white rice or even better chicken (or pork) fried rice. Probably one of my favorite Chinese food dishes of all time. Well I took it upon my self one night to attempt to make this dish. Now it didn't turn out bad (maybe y'all have some suggestions), but this recipe is one I will keep handy at all times, especially when I have a craving for some fried rice. Well let's gather some ingredients first shall we: 2-3 tbs Soy Sauce (I use low sodium) 3-4 cups of Rice (I used boil and serve rice) Salt Pepper Onion Garlic cloves (1 large clove) 3 Large Eggs (beaten lightly) 2-3 cups of Frozen veggies Chicken Breast (2-3 pieces) Canola Oil Sesame Oil Now those are pretty simple ingredients right? I'm pretty sure you have all of these ingredients in your pantry right now... and if you don't I recommend having these staples available to you at all times. But enough of this talk.. lets get onto...
