The Palmetto State fries up Pickles and creates Peach Beer
If there are two things you know about food in the south it is 1) everything is fried and 2) it's unhealthy with loads of calories! Well if y'all know me by now, you know that I love southern food, so I will indulge in anything, even if it is fried and unhealthy! But we are getting off the topic, today's post is about something so amazing, you want to know how to make them in your own home.
So I recommend y'all taking a trip to a restaurant called Carolina Ale House! It is a place that has a little something for everyone, but let me share with you my favorite item(s) on the menu!
So the first item I am going to share with you is the most perfect appetizer of all time. What do you get when you fry pickles? Duh y'all you get Frickles! Dip them in ranch and you are golden! If you are looking for something with a crunch, get these bad boys! Trust me y'all, you won't be disappointed! I'm gonna make another disclaimer:
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU PLACING MULTIPLE ORDERS OF FRICKLES AND THEM BEING GONE WITHIN MINUTES!
My sister and I couldn't stop indulging in this amazing creation; they are just the perfect southern snack!
Next lemme share what I paired these amazing Frickles with. Local to Spartenburg, South Carolina, this brew company has made a splash in South Carolina and one that I am now in love with! Keep reading and I'll persuade you to take one taste of this brew and you won't want to have anything else!
Pictured right is the most perfect brew I have had since Bud light Lime. This local native is called RJ Rockers Son Of A Peach beer! This is an unfiltered American wheat ale made with real peaches! Take one sip of this frosty brew and have a Frickle and you will have just tasted the ultimate combination of beer and food.
Now I searched every grocery store in my local area and finally discovered this great brew so I could take it home for my own personal enjoyment. I poured this beer into a beer glass and garnished it with a fresh peach wedge. Take one sip and it will taste even better than the first time you had it!
Just have to thank Carolina Ale House for introducing me to this fantastic brew! But don't worry, if you are looking for other local brews I would recommend you trying the Holy City Pilsner! It is a popular and local brew native to South Carolina!
So have I made your decision on your next meal choice? I sure hope so! The next time you are wondering where to go for a good meal, sweet treat or homemade recipe, come right here and this southern girl will take care of you.
Missy's Munchies if the munchies fix to help your munchies kicks!
Happy Eating y'all!
